World Class Paraguay Hunting Operation
Welcome to Paraguay! The hunting takes place in peanut fields, where blinds and decoys are placed early in the morning to make sure you get all of the action during the day. Since the Mennonite community arrived in the 1940's to the Chaco region in Paraguay, they have worked the land to a point where most of it's area is cultivated with cotton and peanuts which is the pigeons favorite meal. For this reason, pigeons have become a plague allowing hunters to enjoy a no limit hunt where they can bag 250 pigeons per day on average. There are still many "native villages" around the hunting fields, their diet depends mostly on their hunting activities and of course the pigeons hunted during the day are given away to them, none go to waste. The pigeon hunting is first class and there is lots of grain and therefore many pigeons, literally millions of pigeons.
HUNTING PROGRAM
We are in charge of getting all your hunting permits and gun licenses, for which we will need a colored scanned photo of your passport, required for hunting licenses and gun permits. We would also need shotgun information (2 per hunter maximum) one month prior to arrival date.
Trip starts in Asuncion, Paraguay where our agents will greet the hunters at the airport to help them clear the guns through customs and then take them to the hangar to take the charter plane to Neuland, Paraguay. We need the hunters to arrive before 9:00 AM as the plan is to have lunch then onto the fields for the afternoon hunt.
All American citizens need a visa that can be obtained at arrival right before immigration at a cost of $165.00 US dollars and this visa is good for ten years. The dollars have to be crisp and in perfect shape with no exceptions.
Erik Non Sneidern will be waiting for you at the Neuland airstrip and take you to the hotel which is a five minute drive.
